Book write-up

Our new book

Our principal trainer has finally finished a four year project to create the ultimate Bushveld field guide. This 700 page, fully photographic field guide by 30 Degrees South in Johannesburg covers aspects of nature in an easy to use, practical and accessible way. Lee has used his extensive field knowledge to develop useable keys which can assist with the quick identification of almost a thousand bushveld species.

Special features include:

  • Colour coded flower subdivisions with size scales
  • Comparative life size sketches (where possible) and full colour photographs of tracks
  • A new and easy to use tree key with written confirmation keys for each species
  • Alphabetised and grouped birds with full colour photographs
  • Complete colour coding for quick reference of all the species sections
